Garden Balcony (Part 1)

Tropical Idea and the team had the pleasure of working on a project for a wonderful couple, a frequent traveller due to work requirements. The couple was planning to move into their new condo unit, a unit with a balcony.

Both of them were open to any ideas to beautify their balcony. Their balcony comes with a large jacuzzi at a corner. They called a few other landscapers including us.

In handling opportunities similar like this, we took steps to understand our customers, their interests on top of the usual "so what do you have in mind" kind of approach.

Working under deadline, and with a unique spot to develop, we later presented our Garden Balcony idea.





They loved the design and agreed. We had to start work immediately as well, due to the limited time window they were in Kuala Lumpur.

Our biggest challenge was to transport the soils, plants, woods and construction tools to the balcony. It was rather unusual for Tropical Idea workers as they were so used to working in open spaces before this.

In abiding with the condominium renovation rules, we had to transport hundreds of sacks of soils though the depth of soils planned for was only not more than 2.5 feet.
